prinzessinnengarten needs your voice
prinzessinnengarten needs your voice: one of berlin's biggest and most colourful urban gardening projects is looking at having its lease terminated and being replaced by yet another commercial development. despite being widely written about (on a host of blogs, in the national and international press, see the new york times), the plot is being put up for sale by the berlin senate administration. yet another example of the glaring gap between official policy and actual political decision-making. by signing the petition on change.org, you can support the call for an extended lease, and quite simply make your voice heard.
it's the first time i'm being political on this blog, but i sincerely believe that our cities around the world need more community projects and active green, and less commercial developments.
have a great weekend, everyone, and embrace the green in your neighbourhood!
