misses & marbles, a tiny café-cum-gift-shop has opened its doors near helmholtzplatz in prenzlauer berg not so long ago. perfect if you are looking for a small gift or a berlin souvenir that's a bit unusual: say, cookie cutters in the shape of the brandenburg gate oder the television tower or childrens' books entitled 'berlin loves you', featuring döner-stands alongside more predictable sights of the city. also screen-printed t-shirts, hand-made stuffed toys from vintage fabrics and various knick-knacks. colourful and sweet.
homemade cakes and coffee are served here as well.
find it on raumerstr. 36, 10437 berlin (prenzlauer berg), phone 030-49 78 62 82, open mon-sat 10-19h, sun 11-18h.

Looking forward to your post on Pfaueninsel.

Sounds great, shop and drink coffe at the same time! I collect cookiecutters, so they'll have my vote.
Wat een leuk zaakje, en dat je er dan ook nog koffie kan drinken GEWELDIG!
